Updates from Quarantine

Beyond the Bell Tours has been busy during quarantine gearing up for pride. More on that soon, but for now, we'd love for you to see how we've been going virtual during quarantine.

Even though we haven't been able to show you around the city, we've still been hosting your birthday parties, playing quizzo with you and your friends and hosting educational talks for schools in the area.

Last week, we hosted a virtual Badass Women's History Tour with Friends in the City, a local retirement community. We introduced your grandmother to some local quaker leaders and played a quick round of quizzo.

We also hosted a virtual Badass Women's History Tour with Women in Cities Class at Drexel University. We chatted about how women are (and are not) monumentalized in the city of Philadelphia.

We also have had guests on both our digital programming shows: Straight facts and queer thots and Herstory on the Rocks.

We were joined by Salaah from Salaah's corner where Rebecca and Salaah talked about what an inclusive economy looks like post COVID-19.

Straight Facts and Queer Thots hosted a super star panel of folks to discuss the Tribute to Gloria Casarez mural that included David Acosta the founder of GALAEI, Louie Ortiz-Fonesca the founder of GranVarones and Michelle Angela Ortiz renowned muralist and activist.
